Turn Signal went dead...

Yesterday I was checking my Fuses and Relays since my power window is not working, I suspect that the window motor is dead. But while I was messing with fuses and relys I don't know what I did and my Turn signal and Emergency signals are dead now, it is not coming on at all like there is no power to them at all. Everything else is working OK just like before (except the power window, which was the original problem and I will be changing the motor on it).
This is on a 1998 Ford Wind star Van... Any ideas or suggestions, I would really appreciate that...

I replaced the flasher but no go, it has one flaser for both turn and emergency. Still neither come on. I also tested to make sure there is power coming to the flasher. Now I am totally lost

Take a look in your owners manual and see what fuse and/or relay are for the turn signals.
Your window motor may only be dirty. I had both quit in a week from each other. I took them apart, cleaned them and they work as good as new. It's easyer to just take the motor off of the gear box than take the whole assembly out. Just an FYI: the motor has a worm gear that drives a plastic gear. You need to be careful when putting the shaft back into the gear box.

Manual is not very clear and fuse box has no markings as to which fuse goes with what but I have checked all of the little fuses and none are blown...
Thanks for the tip on the window motor, I will give that a shot b4 I buy a new one.
