license plate

I'm buying a neon plate for the back of my 98 cav. Whats the easiest way to hook up the plate wires to my back lights? Any suggestions?

Pop out the one that is in there now. Splice into the old light that lights up the license plate and use those wires, up just totally get rid of the old bulb and cut it out and use your Pos + and Neg- .... there ya go!

the problem is that i don hav any license plate lights already, i hav to take the wire fromt he neon plate and put them somewhere, but i dont know how to do it...

Run a wire to the battery to the battery and hook the positive wire to the positive terminal in the battery. Now with the negativie wire you could A) Run it to the negative terminal on the battery, or B) Ground it to something that is metal. However this will make it so that the light always stays on. If you want to be able to turn it off and on then you will need to run a toggle switch

Make sure its legal first.

yea i live in NYS, and its illegal, but its alright, my dad is a cop (and that always works, trust me)
