Yesterday my wifr drove our 02 S Type and the message center is dusplaying "Boot Open" long with the red warning bar. There is not a word of this in the manual and I don't see anything on the net.
Does anyone have a clue on this? It's not a conv. , so I can't imagine what this means?

Before anyone makes fun of my previous posting, I thought I would point out that I do now realize that "Boot Open" message means the trunk is open.
Once I discovered that, it was easy to figure out why the car was not recognizing the trunk was closed. The plastic piece that covers the ledge where the trunk door latches had come undone and was not engaging the small button that tells the car the trunk “Boot” is open. I am a little disappointed no one on this board pointed out what a stupid question I had asked.
