missing relays
gotta fix it

ok so here is the big question of the day for any one out there who is willing to tackle it!!
Why would anybody remove the relays for door lock/unlock including the wiring on the fuse box??? The wiring from the door switches that go to the correct fuse are still there but when you go to slip in a relay in the fuse box nothing is there to hold it in! Basically there are no wires going from the fuse to the relays.
So how would a person go about replacing the wiring for that?? I am so stumped on this one! Any advice would be great.

Did the vehicle come with power locks originally? That will be something to consider. If there are door lock buttons, then somebody either removes them or replaced the fuse panel.

yes there are power door lock switches, acuators and all the wiring that goes to the regular fuse. There just are no wires going to the area that is marked for the door lock relay and the unlock door relay areas. I would guess that you are right that someone removed the relays and the wiring connected there BUT my big question is where do I go from here now if I want this option to work right? I hope this isnt to confusing. HELP

1st thing comes to mind is a salvage yard. I'm thinking new is going to be pretty darned expensive.

Is it possible some one installed after market electric windows and door locks? If so they would be installed using a different wiring hook up. For information on such an installation see:
