this concludes forum ("flip fit questions") instead of a flip kit i put longer shackels (lift shackels) get them from any auto store paid $15 for them they gone on reall easy (if any ? post) then for the front all i did was crank the torsion bars it took about 15 cranks to get it nice and level all in all it gave me 3" im thinking of adding body lift but proboly only 2" dont no yet

My 97 is kind of sagging in the back indicating weak leaf springs and it has enormous rubber stoppers that bottom out very easily even when I'm the only one in the car and there's no load in the back. I think I'd rather have stiffer springs and/or cut off half of the rubber stoppers.

What's the ground clearance on a base 1999 4x4 S model, I've got 15" tires. A google search is saying 7 to 8 inches, both these numbers seem high, am I wrong? If a 3" lift gets me to 10", I'm happy, but I don't believe it, whats up?

a 3" lift will allow you to put bigger tires that will give your more ground clearance.

That's the same source I had found, but I had doubts. I looked at an H3 the other day, it has 8-9" but looks way way higher. How come our rigs look so low, but measure 7" of GC? Any Thoughts?
