My daughter drives this vehicle daily. She bought it used with 60,000 miles and began having front disck brake problems shortly after. Specifically that she has to replace front pads every 10,000 miles. She does drive a rural mail route 2 days a week and yes, there are many applications of the brakes. But this seems excessive. The vehicle has been examined by various servicers and mechanics. Just recently, we determined the back brakes are hardly working. We replaced a leaking rear brake cylinder along with 2 drums and shoes 5,000 miles ago. Also, have replaced front calipers and brake lines. Currently, a servicer is changing the ABS unit but I'm not betting it will fix the issue. Anyone out there know of a Bronco that "eats" front brake pads and has experienced anyting similar. I'll greatly appreciate your assistance.

I replaced mine at about 89 on the Odometer. Calipers, the whole nine yards. The gauge had always read "Bad Brakes". Those are just a point you have to deal with every-once-in-a-while. It's better to do it before your rear brake cylinders blow out. (I don't know anything about ABS on Bronc's, tho.)
