This is in reference to the car company - Jaguar.

It just drives me crazy how some people pronounce it as "Jag-wire"!!! It's pronounced "JAG-U-AR"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU FOOLS!!!!!!! Next time i hear somebody talking about how great "JAG-WIRE'S" are, I will probably punch them in the throat.

*sigh* There, I feel better......this forum is a great idea....

"jagwahr" is how I pronounce is.

The British pronounce it "jaguwah"

Agree there's no "I" in Jaguar. Jag wire? Hate it.

WHO THE FUCK CARES? I call it a Jag. How do you pronounce the alphabet "z"? You can pronounce it "Zed" or "Zee". Are you gonna bite people's head off because they call it "Zee" while you prefer to call it "Zed"? Jesus Christ mother fucker.....

The fuck with people having nothing better to do.....Even taking a dump you would be more efficient.

well it IS the stress release form, and this DID piss him off, obviously. But if you've got anger issues with someone saying a word differently, you might need a lil therapy. I'd hate to see what happens when someone says Worchestershire around you.

Um, sir, you should start a new thread to voice your personal stress release on this, don't you think?

I had completely forgot Ford bought Jagwire! Huh... learn something new every day. And it's not every day that you learn about Jagwires either. I mean usually that stuff is stuck in the Jagwire forum. Since most people can't have Jagwires and they just don't look sexy like Lamberguenis they kind of get neglected. Poor poor Jagwires. They have the greatest engines too, but only old people use them. Oh well.
Jagwire!

JAG-WIRE is how I say it. Jag U Are sounds like how a rich stuck up person would say it. JagWire has zing, JagUAre sounds bleh. I guess I better watch out now, don't wanna get E-Punched in the throat now.

Basically to each his own, deal with it.

Isn't Jaguar pronounced Jaguar, just likes it's spelled? Not Jag-wire or Jag-U-ar, put all the syllables together.

If it's one thing that irritates me are the miss-pronunciations of Modena. It's not Mo-dee-na, it's Moh-de-na.

I know one thing that irritates me is people who come a bitch about other peoples stresses. I can't get mad at people who do things wrong because they were not informed. You simply just didn't know. I get a little ticked at people who were informed MANY times and still manage fuck things up.

It's like Porsche, it's supposed to be pronouced Porscha, but no one says Porscha (well maybe the salesman at the dealer and the voice over in the ad, but that's it).

don't think I've ever HEARD modena mispronounced. I had to say it out loud before I could relate to the people that say it.

yeah, fook the porsch-a thing. I'm (an ignorant) American. We don't pronounce Es at the end like that.

It's all the accent mate.

Heep pronounces "hard" as "herd", and "about" either "aboot" or "aboat".

Damn Canadians, haha.

Didn't Joel, in "Risky Business", say Porsh-a?

It's Jag-You-Are dammit, I never even heard it being called a Jagwaaaaaaaaaar until I went to the US, bloody Septics. :p

But I've never heard any Brits (English?) enunciate the 'R' at the end, it's always, "Jag-You-Ah" instead.

Maybe it's just the sportscasters on the Formula 1 broadcast?
