I never, if rarely, have spare change. I always use my debit card for purchases.

just by taking a quick look through my "other countries" piggy bank here, i have Venezuelan, Peruvian, Czech republic, italian, polish, japanese, canadian and US (obviousley), English, austrailian, Luxembourgian(?), irish (before they switched to Euros), but i do have some Euros too, Austrian, Netherlandian(?), French, Belgian, Bajan, and Spanish currency. i'll sit down one night this week and count it all.

I once sold a motorcycle to a friend of mine, '87 Honda XL250 for $850.
He paid for the thing entirely in coins.
No word of a lie, 850 one dollar canadian coins.
He had just saved them up over the years.
They were pretty heavy though.

Those 2 euro coins are a bitch for tourists. They're equal to like $2.50USD so they actually have some value. Then at the end of the trip when you get home after forgetting to change them to euro bills, you discover that you have about $50 worth of euros that you can't exchange because they are coins.

What the hell are you doing with NZ cents? When did you come here?
I have 40 cents in my wallet :D and 5 cents under a layer of dust on my desk.

Why the hell would I have spare change? Isn't that what vending machines are for?
Well I do have USD, AUD, NZD, GBP and Swiss Francs laying about my house, as well as Euros of course.

i usually save my change for like a month then goto the bank and deposit into my saving account. Usually there is about 50 bucks in change. BTW, i never use change, even if i have it in my pocket i wont use it. I just let it pile up.

I have lots of change that I usually end up rounding up anything silver and putting it in my car where it goes towards food and gas,
I found a canadian cent on my table today
BTW if anyone wants to send me there spare change please PM me,
Cyprus, thats why they are going to remove pennies from the US economy (at least talked about it),
It actually costs more to make pennies than $0.01, b/c of inflation over the years...
I'm bad about throwing them out too, next time throw them out in the street or something, or do what so many people do and put them in a jar, they usually end up on my table, and clutter everything up...

not currently. That's why they aren't pure copper anymore, they have a zinc core now because it is cheaper.
