I have the Bose 6 cd changer (stock) in my 2005 Envoy SLT. Now the CD changer works great on everyday regualr CD's, but I copied cd's from my friend and they used to work in my pontiac and in my grand am, but in my Envoy the 6 cd changer doesnt like copied CD's for some reason. The cd will play for a couple of second and then eject, or play a complete song then the next trakc play a couple of seconds and then eject, and then I can skip a few tracks and it would work and then eject again. Does anyone know why this is happening and why it doesnt like copied discs?
Please let me know.
Thanks

One thing you might want to check / try is to finalize the CD after burning the music. I have heard there could be issues with some CD players if the CD isn't finalized. Give it a try......

I convert mp3s to cds all the time and I have never had any problems with cds not playing or acting up in any players including my 04 Envoy without the 6 cd Bose. I use Nero 6 to convert and burn and just use regular CD-Rs. The only suggestion I have is to try a music CD-R and see if that works. They are supposed to be more compatible with players.

Check Nero to see what the default file type is when making the recording. My Bose will not read MP3's but will read WAV format.
