They totaly stopped in the up position. I checked the fuses and they are ok. I replaced the wiper motor about a year ago. I replaced it with a rebuilt one. Do these motors burn out that quick or could there be another problem? I will check the relays in the AM( I hope that will work but thinking not). Any help would be great

What is the cost for repacing the wiper motor? Is it difficult to change? My wipers stop intermittently on a full moon. My rear wiper started swinging in the OPPOSITE direction.

Thanks.

It s like 40$ for the motor if you turn in your old one. That's for a rebuilt one. But it is a pain the azz to install. You have to take a couple layres off to get to the motor.

replaced the wiper motor 2 months ago in my 01 windstar and they stopped working again. I have replaced the motor 3 times. WHat can be the problem.

I've replaced the (2) wiper motor relays a couple of times on my '99, but never the motor itself.
