327 engine suffix code

I'm looking at replacing 1968 - 307 with a 327 and have found a good looking block #3956618 which other sites say is likely from a 68/69 Camaro. The Engine No. is V04028BA. I read that to be a Flint block cast April2nd 1968 but I can't find the suffix "BA" Can anyone help on this. The intake manifold is 3927183 and both exhaust manifolds are cast 3823485. Haven't got the head numbers here. Any help appreciated.

Had to research a engine code for my neighbors 67 rustang because he was getting the wrong starter at all the stores, so I followed my instinct that even tho it was the correct engine type for the car, maybe there was some variations.

Anyway, after a couple of calls I was referrred to one dealer that dealt the high pro application and they decoded right away, had the same type of odd abbreviation at the end no one else could identify.

So, maybe you could get lucky doing the same, make some calls and hopefully get linked up to guru like I did?
