I only have one outlet in my 03 Civic so I want to hardwire my radar detector into the fuse box. I already cut the wire and there are 2 wires. Is one of them power and one a ground? Anyone know? I would greatly apreciate any kind of help on this. Thanks

Yes, for mine the power was red and the ground was white. Good luck and dont fry anything. Make sure what your running to is switched by the ignition or it will be on all the time.

*EDIT* I forgot to mention, Im not using the same detector as you so dont be worried if the colors arent the same.

Yea thanks for the suggestions I got it hooked up successfully. One wire was the ground (black) and one was the power (black w/white stripe). I had it hooked up to my fuse panel at one point where it would come on with the lights and then i moved it over a notch and it works flawless now. It was weird at first b/c when i would lock it and the parking lights would flash it would flash too. weirdest thing.
