Hi everyone,
I have a 1990 Thunderbird SC,, 35th eddition. I got it out for the summer and sent it to get all the fluids changed. When i was driving the car, I pulled out to pass person and the overdrive fluttered. Then it just quite working. I seemed like it had just gone into neutral. If anyone knows anything just send it my way.

Well no one else is helping you,The first thing I did with 94 when the tranny started acting up and feeling like it slipped into neutral, was go out and buy a bottle of Lucas tran condishener(SP) it took two days driving it before it worked and it now seem okay. "Good luck" And I better add to check the fuild level and the color of it.If the car was stored for a time your seals may have dried up.That Lucas tran.con. will help with that also.

Personally I would get a new tranny or rebuild that one, It is the most definite way to fix the problem.

I would also recommend the lucas trans stuff. I put it in my 92 sable and it kept the trans good for almost 15k miles. Just be sure not to overfill the trans. Good luck!
