91 rodeo engine swap.

the 91 rodeo has a gm 3.1 L v6 in it. Has anyhone put a larger gm engine in one of these? 4.3 v6 or a small block v8? If so, what year engines and so forth.

Don't know for sure, but look into a 3800 from a Buick Regal.

I'm looking at a 350 swap right now, I have the engine, just haven't taken measurements. Fortunately, I always drive manual, so all that will be required will be (hopefully) a bellhousing swap (mechanical) and computer swap for electrical.

Whenever swapping engines, electrical is key. I believe a 3.4 will swap right in, without any changes, but no quotes here.

I am going to compare it to a 3.1 from a grandprix I have out in the yard and look for simularites. Then compare that to a 4.3. My rodeo has a 5 speed, so may just be a matter of bell housings. I will most likely use carburated without any electronics.
