89 Turbo weird a/c stall

Have an 89 Caravan 2.5L Turbo. It started stalling in the heat when I moved to TX. Let it sit for 15 mins, would restart and go for awhile. Got worse and worse - would stall even when not hot. Always worse when A/C is on.

I replaced the fuel pump and filter - still had problem. Got fault code 54. So replaced pickup coil, distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Seemed to work fine until I turned on A/C. When the engine is above 2000 RPM, the engine starts to choke, ran normally as soon as I turned of A/C. A/C worked at idle (1000 RPM), but when I revved engine above 2000, it started to choke again. After running the A/C for awhile at idle, I turned off engine and it would not restart.

I am stumped.

Sorry, i dont really have a solution for you. But i have a quick question for you: have you ever had to replace your interior sliding door handle, because there is no information on how to install a new one anywhere!, Sorry again about your turbo, heard those were a blast to drive, but if you could would you please help me out? Id really appreciate it, thanks.

I've only had the van about 3 months. Actually, the interior sliding door handle does need to be fixed, but I haven't gotten around to looking at it or figuring out how to do it. I think mine is just loose, though.

Ok well good luck with your problem, but most of all with your door handle, there is virtually nothing out there on how to replace it...if you need to that is.
