I just went and removed the ecu from my 1992 eagle talon tsi. I noticed that it has a E931 eprom on it. Does that mean this is not the stock ecu? I am the second owner, so I was planning on changing the capacitors. If this is a newer ecu should I change the capacitors anyway?

Edit
Well I just went to this site
http://simon.chi.il.us/~steve/Auto/DSM/ECUID.html
On it it shows my ecu MD166260 with a E931 eprom with it. So I am guessing this still could be the stock ecu that came with the car??
Is there anyway to identify how old this ecu actually is?

Edit
This is the site that gave me the information on the capacitors.

The board I have is a tiny bit different from the one shown on that page.
