I want to replace foggy headlight lenses on my 96 grand caravan. do i have to buy the whole light assembly,(EXPENSIVE) or can i buy just the new lens?
Lights work fine, just can't see at night.

You will need to buy the whole assembly. sorry. the cover is sealed and if you break the seal, water could get inside of it. and no glue will NOT work. sorry for the bad news.

Look for aftermarket parts though - you can usually find the assembly for under $100. I've even seen the light assembly alone on eBay for around $20-$25, but it is not the whole assembly with the marker lights and all. Might work for you if your fairly handy and don't mind messing around a bit. As far as I can tell it is a b**ch to change them out, unless you get lucky and you can do it with the adjusting screws.

Save yourself $$$$.
Use some wet/dry sandpaper to smooth the lenses (with water, of course). Then come back with some plastic polish and you'll be surprised how clear they get.
