Cigarette paper? What? Where? How?

Hey,

Sorry for this noobish question..I don't smoke. My friends don't smoke. What is this cigarette paper that looks like heat sheilding? I have never seen it on cigarettes :confused: Where can I find this cigarette paper? And for the how?...I think I can figure it out. Diluted white glue right? Most of the kids at my school smoke during break. I stare at them smoking adn try and figure out where the hell the heat sheilding shit is at..then they look at me funny when I ask them that. lol...Why am I like...tottally out of the loop? :screwy: Please send help.

I don't smoke too but I think the cigarette paper is the foil in the cigarette box (Not the packet type of cigarette). Some comes in gold colour, others in silver. Hope this helps. :smile:

Ok, its not paper but actually aluminum foil, very fine and really great for detailing. It comes in all or just about all Canadian brands of cigarettes. I have quite abit at home right now, but since I just quit smoking( one week in) I dont have a fresh supply coming in anymore. However I do know lots of people that do smoke so its not too hard to come by. If you would really like some I'll mail it to you so you can try it out. Just PM me your address and I'll try to send some out soon. Sorry I dont have a digital camera as of yet so no pics.

It's inside the box. It's part of the packaging cigarettes come in. You have to carefully remove the foil because it's glued inside. It's easiest to carefully disassemble the box to get to it.

After you remove the foil paper you don't get a whole lot to work with. Because of folds and glue and whatnot.
I had to chain smoke 4 packs to get enough to foil the engine bay of my Enzo.. :)

ok, get an empty cigarette BOX, and look inside it, you will see a foil stuck to the sides of the box, this is the stuff.


beware though: some brands have their name or logo embossed onto this foil.... it would look strange to have "marlboro" heat sheilding on a car :icon16:

Go to the craft store and find the same thing in the confectionary aisle. It's used to go under fancy cakes. You can buy a whole wrapping-paper-sized roll for like $5.

Thanks all. I'll get my friends from school to give me their empty boxes. They go through a box each everyday, at like 5 peopls smoking. lol...poor their lungs:-/
