Has anyone seen or has one of these Autolock security device that locks to your brake. If you're up late It's almost impossible not to see the informercial on tv. Looks pretty good, and oviously more effective than the Club. I'm pretty content with my mediocre stock alarm..I don't have to use keys, I can flash the lights whenever I can't find my car in a lot, it lights up that security light on my dash as a visual deterent, and it seems as functional as any aftermarket alarm. So, basically before I dump some cash on this Autolock thingy I was curious what you people think..a simple yea or nea will do.

I have it its worth the added security, plus it keeps ur car looking good when parked, unlike the club on the steering wheel...

Tell you the truth, I don't even bother with that kind of stuff. A basic alarm is good enough to stop the rookie jackers (sorry to say). There are those "pro" jackers out there that can literally break through any alarm, club, or anti-theft device. If someone really wants your stuff, they will do anything to get it. I used to have a 95 civic coupe that I hooked up with EVERYTHING, audio to engine. I had a dual horn alarm, pager, back up battery, steering wheel lock (not a CLUB) supposed to be better; But still these fucks still managed and got my whole car while I was at work. It's really unfortunate that the only real safety is to park in your garage and have full coverage insurance.

Now that I think about it, it was in fact an AUTOLOCK that I had. Anyways, my car was found a week later--as you'd expect it was raped! Everything was GONE. I think they had to have somehow taken the steering wheel off because when I went to look at it in the junkyard, the steering wheel, bumpers, seats, and most of the engine was GONE. That's the problem with HONDAS' too many people have them so there is a big market for the parts.
