Blown fuses

Any one run into this problem? The tail light went out. I replaced the bulb, and than the fuse. I've been through three fuses now.As soon as I turn on the lights, the fuse blows. Anyone got any ideas?

I don't mean to point out the obvious but you have a short somewhere, probably in the socket where the light burnt out. Check the base of the socket to make sure something didn't get into the socket or that the wires aren't touching somewhere. They could have warn through due to vibration.

I had same problem in my 93 YJ, tail light fuse. Was a problem at the light area. Was offroading got alot of dirt up in there. Was shorting out. All I did was put a screw driver in there clean it out and make sure wires were ok. Not rubbing on metal etc
