I think your going to have to be alittle more specific as to where it is leaking. How badly is it leaking. What kind of condition is your top in. We need a bit more info ........

its leaking from the front where the windshield is. the top is still in great condition.

this is gonna sound silly, but i had that problem once where i was getting water in from the windshield. turned out i hadnt closed my top all the way, and there was a mm or 2 of gap that would let the water in....
i assume u mean its leaking from where the top connects to the w/s, and not leaking from the w/s itself.

I have heard of people fixing this type of problem with some black silicone but thats only if its leaking in the corners where the top meets the w/s. But im not to sure on how that works. If you search on the internet Im sure you can find a write up.

I had the same problem with my '98 spyder and ended up having to replace the entire top at a cost of $2,500. The rib in the top was broken and there was no way to fix it or replace it without replacing the whole top.

I had the same problem. It was buckets of water pouring in on me. The top is great shape though this is what I did to fix it... It actually wasn't sealing tightly..
Armorall all the seals and cracks. I mean everything I even put the top half way down so I could get by the windows. I did the front of the top that sits on the rubber. This stopped some of my leaks. The next thing I did was the two j hooks are adjustable. with them open and the top open a little I took a hex wrench to the bolts. Unbolt them and then you can actually screw in the j hooks try one turn inward. Then retighten the hex head screw. Try to latch the top again. You may notice it takes a bit more force to close the top. See if that fixes your problem.
It worked wonders for me. Mine was pouring in at the corners and in the center it would run in and onto my sunvisor then to my lap.

You can also adjust the hooks by loosening a set screw..allen wrench.. and turning the hooks (lefty loosy/righty tighty) I did this on my old spyder and it helped out quite a bit...
Another thing is to use heavy duty/high traffic areas Scotch Guard on the whole top!!! I highly suggest it for older tops... the lining on the underside can get dry and brittle especially from the hot sun beating down on it... the scotch guard will seal it up pretty good!!!! I also used it and all my leaks went away.
Oh yes armorall all the weather stripping.....I would put it on thick to soak in and then wipe up excess after a minute or two...
