Wrecked My Car

So my friend that owed me some money had just send me a $2,000 check. I was really happy, having a good day, i was gonna put it down as the majority of my equity to buy a house next year and still have some left to invest in the market. I came from the bank and was going to the gas station. I didn't realize that the little stoplight I was at had 2 lanes, one right and one left turn. I thought it was all 1 lane with a shoulder. so on a red light for the oncoming, i drove through a brake in the traffic and a bigass pickup pulled around from behind some of the other cars and gunned it to turn right and just plowed me. we exchanged info and i left before the cops got there cuz if they had, id have gotten another ticket and lost my license. pain in the ass.
So then i was having trouble breathing and my back was hurting worse than it EVER had. The last accident I had, 8 months ago, the second time I EVER drove my Jeep, third day I owned it, i wrecked it and fucked my back all up. The top 4 vertebre of my spine are rotated 90 degrees from that and i had 3 months of chirporactor bills. So then everybody told me to go to the ER, they thought i had a cracked vertebre. I said I was fine, they made me go. I went and told the ER i was fine, they said I wasn't, i said I was, they took X-Rays and checked everything out and the told me I was fine. after my $75 co-pay.

So my insurance will probably drop me, because that's my second wreck in under a year, I now have (most likely) a $30,000 jeep cuz the first wreck cost $10K, bought it for $11K and this one they estimated @ $6K, but they did the same on the last and it turned out $10K, they may total it because the frame is bent 1.5" in and now it's got over 100K miles, i woke up this morning with my arm THROBBING. and I can't bend it all the way now because it's too swolen. I tried picking up a 12oz soda from a country earlier and it hurt too bad. If my arms by my side i can carry shit, but i can't hold it out and have ANY weight relying on it. My back hurts so bad i can barely sit and my chirporactor's out for the week on vacation. This is my FOURTH FUCKING ER VISIT in 6 months. WTF?! and all my life I'd bragged about how I'd never gone to the ER for shit. Not even when I'd cut my leg open and you could see my kneecap and my anklebone. I sowed that bitch up myself. Yeh there went THAT record.

I honestly just wanna total the damn thing and get the insurance money. It's worth more to me dead than alive now. I tried to bribe the guy at the auto repair shop into telling my ins. company there was too much damage and it needed to be totaled but he didn't go for it.

I'm in pain. and im so pissed. This fucking Jeep has been nothign but trouble. *tear* but i love it so much!!

That sucks. Can you post some pictures? About the bribing thing, was it the first accident when you tried to bribe or the second one? Considering that it's the second accident, it will probably get totalled.

That really sucks man. I rolled my grand am (long story) = totalled, and then spent half a year rebuilding it. (I was SO lucky not to get hurt at all). And then I rear ended a lady (her fault). So if I get into another accident I'll lose my liscense too. You sound like you've had really bad accidents. I've been so damn lucky, I feel bad for ya man.

Guy is in obvious pain and has problems and you tell him he is driving the car vehicle. Think of what would have happend to his car if it wes smaller. A truck would have demolished it and he would probably be in even more pain.

A'ight so, there was 1 lane of traffic going my way and 2 lanes on the other side of the street, waiting to turn at a stop light, one lane goes right, one lane goes left. But ALL of the cars were all in the left turning lane. There were probably 20 cars all in 1 line. I didn't even know the right-hand turning lane existed. I thought it was a shoulder at best. There was a break in traffic and some guy let me through. When I was going through a truck pulled out from behind traffic and gunned it to get to the right hand turning line, where there were no cars. I was out in front driving through and he just creamed me.

It's got nothing to do with the Jeep, but having it saved my life in the first accident. When I got hit the second day I ever drove the Jeep, I was going to drive the civic that I still owned but decided not to. And a BUS waved me out, acted like it was safe that time and when I pulled around it, grandma molly there was doing 60 on the other side, had 3 feet to stop, so I got hit, front driver's side panel, with nearly the full force of her Avalon. FUCKED the Avalon, (and the poor grandma) UP. she was ok, she got released pretty quickly, but my jeep had 10K worth of damage. I didn't even tell the cop that gave me the ticket that the bus had waved me out. Didn't matter. She wanted to turn in but was too wide to clear me and get into the parking lot i was in, so she waved me out. i didnt wanna go cuz there was another lane of traffic i couldn't see. she looked completely behind her, waved me out again with a thumbs up, i pulled out and just got plastered. Then she drove off. They said if I had been in my jeep, it would have crumped cuz that's what it's designed to do, and it wouldda crumpled straight into me, since it was driver's side. They pretty much said if I wasn't in the Jeep I'd have been dead. *Sigh* oh well, whatever. fucking jeep. Tried to bribe him the second time.

i can relate!u'll love this one cyprus106! i went out drinking in my 93 rx7 tt at a club bout 20 min away.i was all pissed off at my girlfriend for acting like a whore so i went out to get laid/smashed!any way, left the club to meet some chicks in my hometown.on the highway ride, i was very careful and kept it under 60 which is hard in a fd3s!as nsoon as i get off the highway, something came overme(i think it was my new intake and blow off valve!).i started driving like a maniac on side roads(bout 100mph!)got within 2 min from these chicks and lost it around a corner. ended up flipping the car i hit against the curb, and stopping 70 ft from car to car! my friend in the pass seat was knocked out cold(no airbag in pass side!)!horrible!so i wake up my friend and whip my liquor bottle into the woods.then checked on the other people which didnt exactly want my help!i never felt so bad in my life, anyway, i got a dwi 2 mths later after i thought everything was in the clear.ins did end up paying, but i will never drink and drive again. 4 yrs later, i buy a 94 rx7(with pass airbags)and bring it to my shop.put 12,000 in performance parts(new engine, efini turbos, act clutch, etc.,etc.three mths later my car was all set, all they had to do was testdrive it. the next phone call i recieved was my service manager telling my the mechanic whiped out and crashed sideways into a pole!i almost flipped!!!!if he wasnt 40 yrs old i would believe he was f-ing around, but it was 30 degrees and slick. they asked if i had ins and i didnt.i said what the f does my ins have to do with this? anyway, after fighting my own company for a few mths, i told them here is my reciepts and title, pay me this 22,000 dollars or ill see ya in court! lets just say i got my money and paid off my loans. i figure three strikes and im out so i now have an 88 anniversary rx7 turbo thats a little slower. i will always miss my babies!!!!as it seems u do to!bottom line we all lived and are here to tell about it!

dood, ghost... that SUCKS. BAD. I think about 5 out of 7 days a week I dream about going back to Vegas and getting my car back. Or at least a new one. But that still doesn't put back all the aftermarket shit. *Sigh* And now I'm f'ing broke.

Second off for ghostrx7, i have no sympathy for you, I'd rather see you go in the ditch and get killed than see you lose it goin around the next corner and kill a family. hopeless4life, u r completely correct.i will never let it down that i almost hurt innocent people cause of my stupidity. im just posting true events to inform others.

It may of been a hard way to learn, I know, but its better to learn that way than ne other. I just look at all the dumbasses i went to school with, some are dead from drinkin and drivin, others were friends with the ones who died and still drink and drive, it makes no sense. Sorry it just hits close.
