97 Camry V6 Electrical problem with Windows and Seats

I recently purchased a 97 Toyota Camry V6 with 37,000 miles in the Cayman Islands. The vehicle was on the island during Hurricane Ivan parked inside of a garage. The water level from the hurricane rised to just above the door jams and the floor boards were soaked. The car operates fine except I cannot roll the power windows down or adjust the power seats. I checked the fuses using the owners manual as a reference and they appear fine. Someone mentioned that the "Switch" is more than likely corroded and should be either replaced or cleaned with a steel brush. Unfortunatley I have no idea where to even look for this switch to see if I can salvage it. Can anyone help me with locating the wherabouts of this switch and how I should procede with either replacing it or cleaning.

Thanks in Advance
Corey

The switch for the power seats is the one that is attached to the seat, you'll have to remove it and take it apart to see if it is salvageable. Also, you should check the wiring harnesses along the floorboard, the main wiring harness which provides power to the seats is located toward the front of the bottom half of the seat. You should disconnect it completely and look inside to check the condition.

BTW Camry is Japanese Import Right hand Drive. I assume that does not affect any of your previous advice but if so please let me know.

Regardless of what side the driver sits on, it's still all based on the same principles. Best of luck to you, hope you can get it all figured out.
