Trade 2 Door Cherk for Grand Cherk?

I have the option of unloading my 1989 2 door pioneer, 3" lift, 4 ltr. for a 1991 Grand Cherokee "Briarwood" with all powers. I guess what I'm asking is are there more problems with the 1991 then there have been with the 1989? This 1991 also has the ABS system in it where the 1989 does'nt. I bought the cherk for $500, will probably ask $650 for it, and I can grab the 1991 for $900. Am I even crazy for thinking the way I am?
