Both sliding door swithes stopped working last week when it was very cold. These are the switches on the B-pillar located just behind the front seats. The doors work fine with the remote and with the switches above the rear view mirror. It is strange that they would both stop working at the same time. It is just a minor nusiance, but I am curious if anyone else may know what the cause is.

I'm embarrassed to say, there is a switch just above the rear view mirror that disables the rear switches. I guess that this is a child safety feature, kids can't open the door and jump out into an unsafe condition.
I never use the switch, so I didn't even notice that it existed. It must have been bumped accidently into the off position. I switched it to the "on" position and now everything is back to normal.
