right signal works on/off

Hello,
another little troublesome problem with the Windstar. When I move the stalk to signal to the right, I get a staticee, buzzing noise and the right signal sometimes goes on and sometimes it doesn't. The bulb is good, front and back. Sometimes the right signal doesn't work at all,I would get that staticee, bussing noise, like a loose wire in the stalk perhaps?. Any help in trouble shooting would be a plus. The left signal is good.

I have this exact problem. If I flick it to high beam and then try the signal it will work sometimes. Its like something is loose.
Have you found the solution yet?

I've decided to purchase a new turn signal/highbeam/washer/wiper part from Ford. I'm waiting for warmer weather to install it.Another member enlightened me as to the work involved and doesn't seem to complicated.
