I have an 88 bronco II. Engine and trans are in good cond. The problem i have is that sometimes when you first start it or when you acc from a dead stop, it has a hesitation - no power basically. It does this often at low speeds at low throttle. It seems like its not getting enough gas. At freeway speeds its fine, and full throttle too. So any ideas to the porblem would be great. I really haven't looked at it much but thought maybe somebody has had asimilar problem before. oh, sometimes it hard to start too. You crank it over wait a sec and then crank again and it will start. The car has 90,000 miles on it (the odometer hasn't tripped over im sure). If it had a carb. I would think the accelerator pump on the carb. was bad.

I hate to be so simple, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter, this would be the first thing I would do.
