4 wheel drive help

I have just gotten a 1986 bronco 2 and i put it in 4 wheel drive to test.
Now the 4 wheel light stays on and low range light flashes and cannot get out of 4 wheel. I have tried disconnecting battery but cannot get it out any help is greatly appreciated.

Just put your bronco 2 in the neutral position and then press the 4 low, i think this transfer case in low range only can be shifted in "N". On the other hand 4 high can be pushed at any time.
