I know I know, Im new and my name is rice sucks, and im asking about hondas and toyotas :headshake But seriously, I love imports, I just hate when they look like crap and have no power. Now that thats clear...My friend has a 1993 prelude vtec model. Its a 5 speed. Bone stock...It has 200,000 miles on it, But up to 150,000 miles it was never driven to redline...Then my friend aquiered it...For the last 50,000 miles he has been driving it very...Um...Im just going to say he drives it like he stole it...Now, My dad has a 2002 Toyota Camry...v6...Auto..Not the 5 speed auto(Wasn't in 02's...) Who would win from a dead start? And a 40 and 60 roll? I Think the camry would beat it from a dead stop...Well i know it sounds just wrong, and the camry would loose at everything...But whatever...I'm currently carless and driving this camry around, Who would win? (Note my friend is an OK shifter)...I rode in the prelude, Its got some guts, But the camry really an't that bad...I think it takes off alot better because its an auto...

I'm sorry, Is the supposed to be in a racing section?

a v6 camry is no match for a v-tec prelude. esp the 93 special editions. those things are freaking high 14 second cars man. my friends 93 with intake, and exhuast, pulled on my other friends 00 type R with a cold air intake on the top end.

a v6 automatic camry is slow. even for a v6 its slow. the camry is even no match for a automatic v6 maxima, and my friends v-tec lude can leave a automatic 255hp v6 max for dead esp from a stop since automatics can't launch for shit.

I have a 96 Camry V6 LE, and it only quarter miles at about 16 flat. I can't imagine the new ones being much faster than mine. 93-96 Prelude VTECs quarter mile in the high 14's with a great driver and low 15's with an average driver, so I'd say the Camry is toast.

you can't really tell from sitting in the car becasue it has little tq, so the issue of speed is not there.

Again, odds are you can't hit 14's unless he's a really great driver, but low 15's is no problem at all.
