Parts/or Project Car/ Or, Will it be runnin'..?

I'm still working on getting this car going again (see my story under these forums, Volkswagen/ Rabbit/ Can't take it ! Sellin' Diesel Bunny). It was running great until...... We are in West Los Angeles.
Meantime, I'm not opposed to selling it for a parts car either, besides I have a bunch of extra parts that go with it anyway. Selling for cost of new parts purchased and / or installed without ever having an opportunity to use them (so, basically the car is free!) OBO. It really is a good car, and still looks pretty good too, both in and out! With alot of good miles left on her. '79 Diesel Rabbit, 145,000 original miles (they run for at least 300,000, those Diesels, and get 40 or so miles to the gal. doing it!)
Now, if I do get it back on the road----- I'll want a little more of course. The sooner the cheaper. Pics available upon request.
