Dear Amigo2, Ryan, Thank you so very much for taking the time to read all of my post and to reply. The websites you included are wonderful !! I copied and pasted all of the pertinent info. and will print them out. Everyone of them addressed the issues/concerns I have been so worried and confused about. I now feel that I have some great directions to go with.I am sincerely greatful. Also, no the dealer didn't check my vehicle when the check engine light came on. He just said that more often than not it is the gas cap that is not on tight enough. The light goes out everytime I remove the gas cap and put it back on though sometimes it takes awhile. Again, thank you very much. VJW

FYI: If you have an Autozone in your town, they will read codes for free.
