What do you guys think is a better choice.
Buying a sports car(used) or buying a boring ass daily driver, and a Rotax kart or a Formula Ford for the track.
Say, I was comparing a 240SX, Porsche 944, Mazda RX7 FC, Miata or Toyota AE86 to a Honda Civic of Suzuki Swift plus a Formula Ford or Formula car for the track.
What would you guys rather have and why?
Ive thought about this before. No road car can touch an open wheel racer for thrills or performance(at least not the cars in my range), but theres also the issue of storing and upkeeping two cars.
Opinions.

Probably should be in car comparison. Get a Civic DX, which will get close to 50 mpg for a daily, and any of the first 5 for track. That's what I would do.

I'd rather just get something sporty that functions as both a good daily driver and a fun track car. Something like the RX-8, or 330i.

Im not really sure which that would be, hence the posting in COT

Cant afford those, but I already drive a 530i anyways.
