CLS a rip off of E330?

Just saw a Lexus ES300 (in Aus 330 in the U.S.) on my way to work. When I saw the head lights on an angle, I thought, hey, first CLS I've seen on the road. Then I realised, they're not released here yet.

Am I getting old and my eye sight's going or do they really look alike?

ahh but the AU was ugly and the CLS is pretty.
(actualy the most basic AU model was possible one of the prettiest Falcons ever made, but then no body wanted a good looking falcon so they made it ugly again).
