Acura TL or Lexus ES300?

Yes I know it's just a glorified Accord and Camry, but those are so common.

I dunno what your parents want, but I'd go with the Acura TL, because a manual transmission is important to me, and the ES 330 doesn't offer one.

Between those two, the TL. Its slightly more exciting then the ES, but it still drives like an Accord... Both of them really are more luxury oriented cars, and nowhere near as fun to drive as others in the same class.

The BMW 3-Series (330i, 325i) is considered to be the best handling, most involving car in this segment, making it the best (IMO) sedan under $40,000. Most fun you can have in a 4-door luxury car until you are willing to pay $50,000 or so. The downside is the 325i is a bit underpowered, and the 330i is a bit expensive.

The Infiniti G35 is somewhere in between the BMW 3 and the TL. It has a stronger engine then the BMW, and handles better then the TL (but not as well as the 3 series). Interior isn't quite on par with the Lexus though.

1: 330i
2: G35 (tied)
2: 325i (tied)
4: TL
5: ES330

Acura TL. It has a better engine than the ES330 and I like the styling better.

The BMW 3 series is a great car. I drive it oftenly, but its a little slow in my opinion to be a relatively expensive car. My civic Si can walk it pretty easily, but the handling, feeling of the Bmw is just superb.

Lead footed parents? then TL, otherwise the ES330 should do just fine.

lol what he said. If your parents like to have a little fun. Do the G35.

My dad said that the test drive person said he got the top speed of coming out of a corner at 65 MPH.

So you nkow you can have some fun if your car can do 65 out of a corner.

Out is not that hard...eventually you do get to 65...how about 65 into a corner...w/o blinking or batting an eye? Now that's a car w/balls!

:naughty:

a BMW 3301 and Infiniti G35 can both do about 70 around a corner. go for one of them. Not some Camry or Acord.

Dude, I don't think his parents are looking for performancce. They're looking for a reliable, FWD midsize sedan.

The 3.2 TL would be a good choice....
