I just finished spraying my 1979 z28 white and I would like to attempt doing the panel lines on the car. What color paint should I use, balck, dark gray, light gray? Help.

To give you my advise, light grey. Black and dark grey make it look bad. Light grey is noticeable and seems to be a bit on the background. I use Tamiya XF-53 if I'm correct for bright yellow and white cars.

I use mostly Tamiya's smoke unless there is a very dark paint job, then I'll use some darker colour. Another way to go is to use what ever colour you used on the body and add black to it for the panel lines. On the one below I've used the smoke trick and it gives a subtle yet visible effect. I'm not to keen on using just black in panel lines as it gives a rather exaggerated look.

i think tamiya smoke is too light. Try mixing flat black and 70% alcohol. Keep adding alcohol and test out the darkness :)
