Does anyone have instruction information on installing Warn manual locking front wheel hubs?
If you replace the hubs should the whel bearings be repacked?

They should come with instructions with them. It doesnt seem that hard, just take one off and put the other on.

As far as the wheel bearings, yes repack them everytime you do something with the front (hubs, rotors, etc.).

If you cant get instructions, go to fullsizebronco.com someone on there will have them for sure. Or at least be able to walk you through it. :bigthumb:

Thanks, The reason I asked is because I had a set put on and a week later a rusty wheel bearing failed and ruined everything on the right spindle, invluding the spinlde.

Just replace the bearings at the same time. They are not expensive at all, and are worth it if your old ones are questionable at all.

They're easy to change too!!

That is what I would think should be done especially by a shop that is speciallized in truck and off road equipment.

I changed the hubs out in my truck about 3 years ago. I did not repack anything and I have not had any problems 50,000 miles later.

I am glad to hear you have such good luck. I only made it about 1000 miles or less. It seems that repacking the bearing everytime the wheel is removed is the general advice I am getting.
