Although I am in the midwest, I thought I would check with the western U.S. forum for your opinions.
I am trying to get an idea of the value of a nicely modified 1998 Civic EX turbo that just lost its engine (number one connecting rod broke at high speed and punched a hole in the block). On Autotrader.com, look for a black Civic EX at zip code 54449 (central Wisconsin) selling for $7995 before the engine blew. It was a good car and although I had hoped to get $9000 for it, I dropped the price to $7995 to try and get it sold before winter. Now I will have to re-set the price for the car as-is, with all parts, etc. Feel free to send me an e-mail if you have ideas or questions. Thanks.
