I have spoken with my local parts store about my fullsize '92 bronco to replace my hydraulic brake line I need to know the size of the breake line does anyone know this

I guess they need to know the length of it the one that is busted is on the drivers side but i may do both if any one knows the length of them .

I'm not sure of the actual length of the driver's side line. It's hard to tell since it is coiled. 3 feet may not be enough and 5 feet may be too long, but better to have some extra length than not enough. You can always put an extra coil in it to take up the extra length, unless you have a flare kit, in which case you can shorten it. The line that runs across the front crossmember to the passenger side is about 4 feet. Since 4-foot lengths usually aren't available, I just add a coil in the line where it runs through the hole in the frame. Now is a good time to replace all the brake lines, since chances are they are all rusty.

I just finished replacing all steel lines in my '92, The stores sell a 51" double flared line that is the exact length for the RH line that runs under the engine cross member. The line from the master down to the LH side, I had cut out the rotted part and double flared it and used a line connector. --- I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING A COMPRESION UNION ON ANY BRAKE LINE!

I replaced the brake line on a 92 F-150 for a friend of mine. It took 12 feet but that was all the way from the distrobution block to the rubber hose for the wheel cyl. I would think 10 feet would be fine for you.
