Yes, the most expensive vehicles you can find! But no, I'm not referring to ferraris, aston martins, lambos or porches. I'm talking about normal cars... just sold in my country.
I live in Singapore, we're right on the equator. A small country in Asia. We have good food, and the most expensive cars you can find. check out www.aas.com.sg 1. go to coe & car prices, 2. go to new car prices, 3. select a car or make you reckon will be cheapest in your country or state, 4. hold jaw in place.

well, you have to convert these at www.xe.com to mean anything to you, but as a basic guide, divide the price by 2 to get the price in Euros (actually 1 SGD = 0.47 EUR and 1 SGD = 0.6 USD)
but still, they're really high, a 1.5L Kia Rio Cinco which costs $9000 in the US costs $37000 there.

People in singapore...well..... i mean if you're gonna spend that much on a car.... better make it a good one. So most drive cars around the range of 70,000++.
Let's count it this way, a Macdonald's value meal is 5.75 here. And a brand new toyota corolla altis is 72,000. We pay 1.41++ per litre of petrol. OH MY!!! Tears are just filling my eyes right now....

My uncle lives in Hong Kong, and the S class costs about 200k...is that bad enough? I mean I've heard about Singapore and Hong Kong are competing cities, so is it that expensive in Singapore too?

Oh really? I was in Hong Kong recently. The cars were actually pretty cheap. I mean, comparing it to us here in Singapore... Maybe it's 200k HK curreny? Which would be....42,725.89 SGD. Which would make me wanna go over there and buy one right away....
But i hope to migrate to Australia soon. My twin brother's there. The Evo VIII MR is 65K there. Whereas it's 158k here. WHAT THE????

Ouch! A Lamborghini Gallardo costs 3 times as much in Singapore as it does in New Zealand. We get a LOT of second hand cars from Singapore down here (Top end ones like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche etc) and they sell for far less than they cost new in Singapore (Being only about 6 years old). For example, I could get a 1998 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo, ex-Singapore for about NZ$25,000. In Singapore a new A4 1.8T costs NZ$150,000, new in NZ, the car costs NZ$78,000.
It's a bargain for those of us who want a cheap luxury car though (Even if the cars sweat in the humidity over there and become a liability).
The cheapest car in New Zealand (Daewoo Matiz) doesn't sell in Singapore, however.

WOW.... New Zealand... what if i find my old car there? Oh my... what if i migrate there someday and find my old wheels there... i'd buy it back for 1/4 the price and enjoy my ride once again.
You guys have it good i tell you! God bless you guys!.... :)
