Cali better rock!!!

hey guys, im a noob to the forum. im from houston,texas and im going into the navy for basic training on oct 10- and i have the choice to be stationed at the base in san diego,.....now i dont know if its just a texas thing but everyone here thinks cali is the shit....is it true about the import scene and how insane it is?and san deigo is allways in import tuner and all the shops and shit are allways in cali....cali this , cali that,... please help.....no smart ass's on the thread please. anyways i drive a n/a2000 civic si right now, but my girls getting it and i think im getting a s2k...

and also.....if there is anyone on the forum that is stationed in san diego send me a pm or say somthing on the thread and we can chill when i get there cuz i dont get along verywell with people that dont like cars!!!!imagine that..

i live in northern cali but i have family down in san diego and whenever i visit them we usually go to the hangout spots. according to my cousin, import tunning started in so-cal but i dont belive him. anyways if you into cars, especially imports, then san diego is the place to be
