JDM Civic type R gauge install problems

I just installed a Type R gauge cluster on my bro's '99 civic si and found out that the original green plug does not plug on to the JDM unit. All I lost seems to be the seatbelt, door, trunk warning lights and the loss of the use of the dimmer. Does anyone have the know how to make all this work again? Finally there is a warning light that stays on, can someone tell me what this is. It glows red and looks like (O). My bro's out of town and I can't find the civic manual so I don't have a reference of this warning light. The ABS light stays on too so I don't know if the gauge swap has anything to do with these warning lights staying on. The original gauge cluster was stolen from the civic so I don't have a way of knowing for sure if it's a malfunction with the JDM unit. I suppose I can get a usdm gauge to tell what's up but I'd have to wait until I find one. Just need the answers soon if anyone can help. If someone out there is cool enough to unplug the green plug off their guage cluster and see what happens, post and see if any of these problems occur, that would help me a lot.

the (O) symbol means brake. on the us models it will actually say "brake" in red, when i installed mine (2000 CTR cluster) i lost the cruise control light because there was no green plug, but the cruise control still works, the JDM models dont dim, and on my cluster it doesnt have an ABS light, also as far as i know the us models aren't wired for the door ajar lights, but the jdm cluster has the jdm light in it, and you would have to wire the doors on your usdm. helpful hints for converting from KPH-MPH are 40 MPH=64 KPH, 50 MPH=80 KPH, 70 MPH=112 KPH, obviously 100 MPH=160 KPH, and every 8 KPH=5 MPH, the conversion is 1.6 KPH for every 1 MPH. People will tell you its dumb and your never gonna know how fast you are going, but if you keep it simple and just remember those you can just add and subtract, and its not hard at all. good luck. sorry i couldnt help you with the trunk light not working, but maybe the plugs got damaged when the gauge cluster was stolen. i have pics of my gaugue cluster on car domain, and the user name is blueb16a.

Thanks for the help. I'm assuming the ABS warning will have to be dealt by the dealership since the car sat on the rotors from the theives stealing the rims. The conversion you got helps too. Hopefully someone finds a way to make the dimmer control work again for the JDM clusters.
