hi i have a 03 tacoma 2wd trd prerunner and i just installed a basic fabtech 3.5 lift. i set the kit at 2". so my question is could i set the lift at 2.5" even though i dont have auto lock hubs? would it hurt anything? i have 32's bfg tko's and want to stop the rubbin since i already trim the hell out of the plastic. can any one help me

With 2wd you can go as high as 3.5" w/out any damage. However the higher you go, the worse the handling and ride will be because you are making the truck sit up to where it has no droop travel available and can't absorb bumps properly. So to answer your question, yes 2.5" is fine but don't go any higher unless all you care about is the look of a lifted truck! Also don't forget to get the front end realigned after you adjust it since it will be slightly negative camber and wear out your tires faster.
Good Luck!
