Bush in my town

Just the other day I was saying to a friend, that I am so glad I live in the borough of Queens and not in Manhattan with the Repuplican Convention being held there. Manhattan is a mad house place to drive around (regardless of the convention) but its much worse this week. Protests, gridlock etc. But tonight it took me more than usual to get from work to home cause POTUS is visiting some group a few blocks away from my work. AARRGGHH. Its like a mini Manhattan out here. Sheesh. Cops everywhere, roads blocked, protestors starting to gather. All of them just go away. :banghead:

Just be glad you don't live where I do, so far this month we have had Kerry here, Bush here, Monday Cheney was here, today Edwards was here and Friday Bush is coming again.
