Hi.
I have a Firebird, and once in a while the underneath of the car gets scratched when I leave or enter driveways.
The damage:

I ordered a spray paint from dealership to fix the worst of it, but how do I prevent this from happenning again?
I was considering those ugly "bags" that you put on the hood of a car, but they are just way too ugly. I met this guy at a gass station, who had the same model. He said that he put some kind of special "tape" to prevent this from happenning. Unfortenatly he didn't know where to get it, or whats it called. His friend got it and put it on for him.
Any ideas what he was talking about?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thx.

Well in order to prevent it from happening on your driveway, you might want to put some bricks or wood blocks and try to go as slow as possible.

I would also recommend some of 3m's paint protector, ( http://tinyurl.com/5uw8p ) but since your scratches are so deep,I dont think it will work too well.

Thats pretty much all Ive got in my head right now, sorry I coulnt help out anymore.

Well I can't put bricks in every drive way. :) Plus I live in appartment, so that's not really an option even for "my" driveway.
Hmm, I'm not sure that would prevent this from happenenning again. Probably will be ripped to shreds as soon as I scratch the bottom again, but I was looking for something like this for the front of the car. To protect against bugs. :)
Thx.

Go over the curbs very slow w/ 1 tire at a time.

It doesn't always work. :( You should see some of the driveways around here, it's like freaken WW1 trenches.
