gsr running rough

I own a 99 gsr w/ skunk2 intake manifold, aem intake w/ filter, dc sports header, and 65mm Edelbrock throttle body. I just installed an apexi safc to correct the problem I was having with my new setup. Since the mods. applied more air to the equation the apexi safc was supposed to fix the problem by fooling the ecu and making it think there was less air than there really was. The problem is still not fixed. At a red light the car will maintain its idle, but will soon begin to bog down and die. When the car dies it makes a funny sound which I know for sure is coming from my air intake. This is followed by the smell of fuel coming from the engine bay. I have heard of people running this same exact setup so I know the car is capable of running right. At this point I am thinking it is a sensor of some sort. Maybe one is malfunctioning and causing an interrupted code to be sent to the ecu. I checked most of my lines and they all seem to be in great shape and the same goes for the wires, none seem frayed or look like they need replacement. Any advise on this situation would be great.

maybe you need to get a missing link map sensor. That should help you out, but im not positive. read about it on this link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7917366865&category=33609 Im not the seller, and maybe you dont have a turbo, but it does help with the air pressure readings... See if that works. Oh and that link is for a civic i think, you might need one for a teg. But I think there the same not sure.
