which is the best HID kit to buy cause i dont really understand the 5000K, 6000K, 7000K, 12000K and i know 9006 is the socket fitment for bulbs on an integra but what does the H4 and H7 mean?? i want the brightest legal HID kit possible (no i do not want purplish color, i would prefer white or bluish color) since it would look better with my car
inputs would be greatly appreciated
also any place i can find these kits for a cheap price?? and are there any HID kits for acura thats both High & low beam and not just low beam?

The higher it is on the "K rating," so I like to call it, the deeper the color will be. Most BMWs/Mercedes or other top of the line cars use between 8-10,000K. The cheapo HID imitation bulbs run between 5-7000K, and look nowhere near as good as a real HID conversion. Check eBay, they usually have good prices, I haven't looked too much into the brands, but that's what I've come across.

There was a big thread I read about this a while back, but I can't remember which forum. The higher the "K rating", the deeper the color is. However, they also don't light up the road nearly as well as the lower "K rating" bulbs, but they have a more whiteish look. Depends on what you want them for, looks, visibility, or that happy medium where both are pretty good.

Sorry to post again, but I'm almost positive it was in this thread. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=252666&highlight=hid
