72 Range Rover V8 injection - running/sort of!

Hi All,

I have got my '72 Rangie all plumbed up with the 3.5 Injection - and she runs superbly - sometimes!
90% of the time, she will fire up first turn of the key. She will then tickover, and run until warmed up. Then, sometimes(!), she will just die - and then not restart. I get no spark at all from the king lead. Leave the car a few hours, and it tends to start up again with out fault! It has twice failed to start again at all. After going over the ignition connections, and not finding anything - it will then restart!!
It is running the Lucas sytem, with a DAB108 ignition module. I THINK this as fault.
I have followed the test procedure, connecting a meter between the battery positive and coil negative. According to the manual, the meter should read 0 volts. Voltage indicates a fault in the ignition module. I get 12V!! But then, I get 12V with the car in a running frame of mind!!!
Any ideas before I go and buy a new module??!!

Cheers,
Keith
