Air Filter Plug Thingie

Yesterday I went to start my car and the car sounded like it wanted to die so I parked it and took my wife's van. Today I popped the hood to find one of my spark plug wires was chewed through. Then I look down into the engine compartment and found a rabbit sitting there in my engine. I could not believe it. So I looked over the engine to see if there were anymore wires chewed through. Well there were some wires on this pointy plug that goes into the case that hold what I think is the air filter. The plug has two wires running to it. More that likely a power and a ground. I am assuming it is for a light or something like that. Well my question is does anybody know what this little plug is called so I can order a new one. I have a 95 Toyota Corolla.

Any help please

from ur description i think its the air sensor...which senses the air going in to tell how much fuel should be put in the cylinders...also known as an air to fuel ratio...thats most likely ur problem since the sensor is most likely not getting the air it needs...hence the sounding like its gonna die...tell me if im wrong

that's what it is. not sure if they called it the MAF censor back then. just go to the dealership and say it's the sensor in your airbox and they'll take care of you. just don't buy anything else they offer cuz they'll probably try to sell you other stuff
