Greetings All!
My 1999 Buick Century horn has stopped working. Is this a small job that I can repair myself? Where is the horn located? Is a fuse involved?

Hi;
I am pretty sure it is a blown fuse. On my 97, the fuses are on the passanger side on the side of the dash. Just pop it off and check the diagram on the cover to see where the horn fuse is. Usually they share a circut, if so you can double check, by looking at the item that is shared. On my other car it was brake lights and horn, Whenever I would have to slam on my brakes and honk my horn to avoid someone the fuse would blow!
Hope it helps

Hi;
I guess you will have to thank me later, I looked at my car today and the fuse is actually in the engine compartment, and it is a relay not a fuse!
If you pop your hood, on the passanger side you will see a black plastic box if you remove the cover the relay, at least on my car is #16.
It only effects the horn so you could pull it out and take it to a store and match it there.
Sorry about the bum steer, good luck.
Spoonhead.
