Hell I don't know. Probably because I have the only Z in town as far as I know. And I love my car but I know it's not really a 1/4 mile car (at least that's not what I'm building it for), but the ppl here think it does Z06 numbers, lol. I've tried to race vettes just to see how much faster they are and I can't get them to race either. Now stupid rice cavailers flash there lights at me all the time. and I don't wanna lose. You all know how fast a rwd car is with a big f-ing wing. :nono:

Plus there just isn't as many places to race out here and I am not going to look for 17 yo kids to race against. Last thing I need is some kid losing control and plowing in to me. or again to be losing to a cavialer and have the wing fly off because his type r/greddy sticker kicks in :22yikes:

it's that and whats the point in racing a cavailer? If it was a turbo or supercharged maybe but i would rather go after bigger fish, wrx, evo's, sti's, older vettes, mustangs. not that i can beat all of them but it's always close. other than stangs because i can't get one to race me.

What part of Calif.? I've got alittle 'ol Zed32, in fact 2 of them I think would be fun to smoke another Mustang. Never been beaten by a pony yet, but their's always a first. If he's running a 12.1 i'd have to spot him alot of lights, like 4 seconds worth, and he might stand a chance. But if he want's to run heads-up, I'd owen him and the pony he rode in on.

and the steering wheel thing I don't think you got the point Kornboy. I'm just not that into doing the 1320. There is a large amount of driver influence i'm sure. But I would rather hit some twisties or take my car to the track, as apposed to lining up for the quarter. i also don't think the Z33 is built for the quarter but instead more made for a track day.

really just lighten up. every seems to be so worried with sounding like they are the God of cars and everyone forgets why we used to drool over cars in the first place....they are fun to drive. i really don't care if so and so's car is 3 secs faster than mine. i want to increase hp because that equals speed and speed=more fun.

personnaly if i win or lose a race is not my first concern. as long as our cars don't break and it was fun then i'd do it again. not that i don't care about winning but what does it give me? and don't say street cred.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's no way on God's green earth a Mustang with any kinda upgrade kit well out handle a Porsche or Ferrari. Handle good, yes, but out handle them, no frigg'en way. I had a Ruf Porsche, and with the Ruf suspension kit, and engine mods.

If you said My bros car handles real good and MIGHT give you a good run for the money would have been a good statement, But when you make a statement about out handling the Porsche, I well give you a fact, the Turbo911 Ruf Porsche well out corner, out accelerate, out brake and change apex quicker than any Mustang on earth. 1. A Stock GT does not run a 1/4 in 13.6, no way in hell. sorry. I have owned an 02 GT and it is not that fast.

The Stang with the 12.1 1/4. What kinda of S/C? How much boost? You need more then just a S/C to run 12.1 with a sohc stang.

I'll be racing up in Riverside the end of this month with my old Z32, (not very exotic) and if I can't beat your brothers car on the 3.6 mile course by 10 seconds I'll give him my car and $10,000. Now this is in print and everyone including God has read my offer, and I'll post the money with the track offical for a one lap winner take all. Very simple, just bring the car, and if what you say is true, you'll make some easy money. In fact, you can bring that track driver you talk about and we'll post the results here for all to read.
First of all the car your talking about is a race prept'd American iron series car, and not streetable like your bros. car. Secondly the times the Maximum Motorsports car ran against were stock factory cars not modified RR cars. The American iron class cars don't race against our cars as we'd lap them in 3 or 4 laps with ease.
Getting back to my first statement, no way in God's green earth well any Mustang out handle a Ruf Porsche or Ferrari, and I'd almost be welling to say would lap any Mustang in very few laps. Your talking about cars that turn 50+MPH faster trap times than the fastest Mustangs on earth. Mustangs are good cars, but not even in the same class as a Porsche or Ferrari.

My 350 will never handle like an Exotic, but for stock it still handles damn good, I can't wait for my suspension. :bigthumb:

There are so many suspension parts out for a 240sx that could easily cost more than your bros suspension mods but that doesnt make it handle better than any car made. My car also has 4 wheel steering (super hicas) and it handles like a dream. I drive a 240sx just so you know . Im not claiming any super natural car power, its just that your too biased.
